scared to roll the dice? I left a 100k job to take a chance on starting a business.

Where do I say anything about failing? Im not the type to jump in blindly thinking that Jesus will fix it. Im a numbers man, I feel I need some upper hand or insight.

100k a year is 5k/mo more or less (depeneds on how you file). In a city like DC half of that is gone for housing off rip if you want to live in a nice area. Add in student loans, credit card debt, car note, and wanting to "live" like you make 100k will have you broke as fukk.

I think the biggest problem with making 100k, you think to yourself " I make 100k, I can get that BMW, I can live here, I can eat out 2 or 3x a week." Before you know it 100k feels like 60k.

Making $70k but just bought a new Audi A6 and is about to move to an apartment in the city for $1500+ when his folks own their home in Bowie that he can live in rent free. His folks live in Chicago so it ain't like he gotta worry about living under them. Even with all this I think he still able to save a lil something. Oh and his job is in pg so he going be commuting out of his way spending on gas where he also could have saved.

I have a few friends that want to invest in a business. We are all considering joining together to start a franchise or something bigger.

With smaller business, you kind got to have some type of advantage or special insight or a great product, which none of us do. You kind of got to know what you're doing with a small business.
