UPDATE: FUTURE suing DRAKE in COURT. Remember when nikkas would kill over show money? Is 2013 soft?

So you think Dre walked away from that money w/out having a solid backup plan? He knew what his future held and that bullshiit ass walking away story sounds good for the media and such, but :rudy:

He had the Aftermath deal I'm sure set up beforehand....but unless he's some kind of clairvoyant, he had no way of knowing it'd turn out as wildly successful as it did...so successful that walking away from a couple hundred mil doesn't seem that big of a deal...the only reason him leaving Death Row the way he did doesn't look plainly idiotic and one of the pussiest decisions of all times is because he signed Eminem, the single most successful pop artist of the millennium, years after the fact and had a career resurgence...up until that point Aftermath was largely seen as a disappointment with the release of that first Aftermath LP and The Firm

Drake & Future both come out of this looking dumb. Drake needs to slow his bytchmade behavior down before he really does end up like Ja Rule out here.

maning up & accepting that his loss of income is down to his reckless mouth and keep it moving would be the respectable route
that wasn't the question, the question was his manner in settling his dispute, therefore he's going the correct route. Secondly, I'm pretty sure he had a contract, don't know the terms, but you can't just void a contract cuz you got mad at a quote from an interview.

I don't want to be cliche but the game has changed. Lawyers used to be a last resort. Now it's the first line of attack/defense.
Which is a good thing. To quote Comedian Bill Maher, "Civilized people don't kill each other, we sue each other."

I agree somewhat...at that time Dre was the hottest producer so he was going to be successful no matter what. He messed up by trying to go away from the music that made him popular (gangsta shiit). He saved himself by going back to that, then by signing Marshall. Dre is a p*ssy for walking away from that Death Row money though.
