The only skills you need is luck b/c nikkas is not making that much money regularly doing fukkin' IT. A couple might be eating, but like I said good luck amassing the experience, connections, time etc to land one.

Wrong. There's so many six figure jobs out there. I've personally helped one of other black man hit six figures and had a couple others double their income. IT is wide open breh, trust me.

Turtle Island to DXB
I went to HU which is the farming system for the next generation of bougie buppies (amazing school though) so I feel you on the bolded

I still like Washington but, the bougieness and fake people was something I found blisteringly annoying. Everytime I visited my cousin in Baltimore, I noted how much more real and down to earth people were there vs. people in DC, which is funny because Baltimore is an absolute shyt hole.

I thought I was the only who ventured to family in Bmore to escape the madness and for the best "herbal teas" :smugbiden: I lived in the second richest county in America and stood out like a sore thumb amongst the Cacs, Vietnamese, and East Indians. Every nikka in Fairfax and Loudoun county are assimilists, except the Habeshas are cool and militant but stick to their own. Black folks in PG irked the eff outta me with putting on airs with their public college degrees and balling on extended credit. Not to mention people in DC are generally unattractive aside from East Africans, I guess all the focus on education, 495 traffic, and the stress takes its toll on the face.

Could never throw on sweats and tennis and head to Tysons Corner like I did Mondawmin or White Marsh malls. Hell even bummed while at Whole Foods on Fleet St where the Ravens would frequent. The Land of Kush used to be my spot for good vegetarian food and vibes. Certain parts of Bmore is shytty and now is a good time to invest in real property as they are pushing the grandchildren of the 60s/70s heroin junkies out and gentrifying for the Cacs in Howard Counties and Boughettos in Ann Arundel/Bowie.

I had to leave to see what was what. When you aren't happy you have to try something to change you thoughts and feelings.

At the end of the day it is this. What I have found on top of this is finding pleasure within your life. I lived the fast life for a while and when I moved to a city that seemed to move a lot (always had something going on 7 days/nights a week) I was having too much fun...Then like you, I had to answer that call...my family was states away and while I was growing and having fun, definitely becoming a different person I was missing something.

I ended up moving back to my home state and now since I have better ideas on what to do and what i like to do, I basically want it simple. A crib with a decent backyard where I can post out and grill, shoot my gun, take a nap on a nice day in my back yard with a peace of mind that nobody is going to do something stupid, like try to break in my car or anything.

The money is going to come and go regardless, idk. Maybe we are all just passing time.
