Probably the most Holy shyt moment in the movie. Jean literally forces him out of his chair on some grimey shyt and commands he walks to her

She gives him the Kobe death glare, and before you know it my mans is walking up a flight of stairs with bent crippled struggle legs, and the Jordan crying face. That shyt was actually pretty cool lol

He does throw a train lol.. he bosses up on a couple of expendable Chastain goons, but outside of that he’s pretty much Jeans bytch along with everyone else

And I don’t even remember seeing that black kid at any point. Pretty sure he’s just a random kid at the school

The funny thing is... until the MCU (and Bendis on the comics side), the x-men and Spidey were far and away the cool characters at marvel, and the avengers were generally considered dweebs. It’s why the first thing Bendis did was add non-avengers to his team, like Logan and Spidey.

Gambit is one of the most overhyped x-men of all time. Great scenery character, useless when he gets the spotlight (they’ve tried, over and over and...). Cyclops turned x-force into an assassination squad, so he gets a pass. Nightcrawler’s dad is a demon from hell, Jean is arguably the most powerful mutant alive, and there are a ton of other characters who are cool as well.
