It looks like a typical newly built working class exurb that you find popping up on the outer portions of many metropolitan areas. The giveaway is the cheaply built houses and the toothpick trees.

I would classify the town that I grew up in as upper middle class and it's worlds away from what that community looks like.

I think people use middle class as a catchall so as not to be classified below that. But that's not a middle class development at all.
