Let me educate you real quick....one of the guys that came up under me just got offered a job at Amazon to work on the fire stick and fireTV software.....
He took me to lunch to personally thank me for the last 1.5 years of learning from me....
Now to you....frameworks are cool..but if you dont know the basics of the core language ....you will get exposed....I push core java to my guys so if and when they need to use a framework there no mystery on what's going on..
Remember.....frameworks are just wrappers around core
Dont ever try to question me son....I design and build enterprise systems from scratch that are being utilized right now
