We need the Wu back on top, not only to bring masculinity back to hip-hop, but also because every single one of them nikkas could rap, and top of making entertaining music, it was deep and poetic as well when it needed to be. They were the best of both worlds; lyricism and entertainment value.

I only liked 1 wutang song

What song was that youngsta?:rudy:

I'm 32 Breh...and that was cream...I also liked victory or whatever it was that had the video with the beez.

Wutang is really only popular with weirdos, east coast cats, Asians and old hip hop heads...cats like me were raised on NwA, UGk, ball and g, 3-6, Getto boys.

Well we the same age then homie, I respect your opinion. It's just hard to believe with Wu's vast catalogue you've only liked two songs. Almost every member of Wu got a gem or two or three or four on they albums. But to each his own, just ain't ya flavor.

I'd say the Wu was on top of all of HipHop at one point. I hear your opinion. Folks love Pac and I only really messed with like 3 or 4 songs from him.

Trust me..if anybody even marginally affiliated with Wu Tang was still popping at the moment, you'd be claiming it for the Wu dynasty...y'all already do it for pretty much all the acts that fall under the Wu affiliate umbrella...let Ghostface or Meth's son all of a sudden burst on the scene, sign under RZA and drop a platinum album...you're goddamn lie if you're gonna say you wouldn't be talking bout "Wu Tang is forever :wow:"...and rightfully so .... the same exact people that own and run Cash Money Records now are the ones that ran in '98...Aftermath ain't sh!t but a logo and an office somewhere in the Interscope building and everybody be still claiming Kendrick for the Aftermath Dynasty...Freddie Gibbs could sign to Rap-a-Lot tomorrow morning, somehow blow up and it'd be a legitimate addition to the legacy of the house J. Prince built, with plaques sitting right there on the wall next to Face's...The Lakers just dont all of a sudden stop being the Lakers because Magic retired or Shaq got traded

Yup this run is pretty much unprecedented

Don't these crew compilations sell like crap anyway? It's not like the 90s when The Ruff Ryders could drop a crew album and see Platinum just off of the names on the album. The times have changed.

Self Made 2 was probably the last somewhat successful crew compilation. It's somewhere in the neighborhood of 300K.

How? MMG's last group album didn't even crack 75k yet:heh:
The album debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 chart, with first-week sales of 50,000 copies in the United States, the lowest first week sales of the three Self Made volumes.[26] In its second week the album sold 16,000 more copies.[27] In its third week the album sold 8,000 more copies bringing its total album sales to 74,000.[28]

So you dont think it sold 1,000 albums in a couple months :mjpls:

even the floppiest of MMG collab albums shyttin on Young Money :mjlol:
