If you study the men who are in a position of power in their relationships it's never the super nice guy. It's always the stoic dude with the take it or leave it personality. Women are far more attracted to that guy than the guy that does backflips for them on demand.

I'd rather be alone than be the dude that gives up the lion share of the power in the relationship. Women bank on you needing them to be happy, once she knows you can be just as happy without her you'll get that respect you deserve.

What I do (or rather, did when I was dating) is at some point early in the relationship, ya'll gonna have the "Where do you want to eat?" conversation. And you're going to recommend something and she's going to say, "Eww, no I don't want that."

This is your chance. This is your moment.

I respond with, "Well I do want that so that's where I'm going. You wanna roll with me or you want me to drop you off at home?"
