That means Starfield; Hellblade 2, Wolfenstein 3, and possibly Avowed all in the same year day 1 on game pass.

Why would Todd allow them to announce a release date, that is over 15 months in advance(not just a release window or release year), if they're not supremely confident that it'll be ready?

The same for Redfall, no one forced them to announce a summer '22 release date at E3, which is a year+ in advance.

GP schedule from November - 2022

Fall - Winter '21: Halo and Forza
Spring '22 - Stalker 2
Summer '22 - Redfall
Fall '22 - Starfield

That's just counting the games w/ set in stone release dates/release windows. We'll likely see Atomic Heart(my most anticipated game of '21 before it got delayed) and possibly Plague Tale 2(Asobo claiming it's a '22 game).
