How can they sit here and say they were caught “off guard” you literally have an entire police force with a budget of over 450 million JUST for the capital area. That’s not even including secret service dc police etc etc. How were you caught off guard when you knew they were coming? When BLM has their protest the capital building was lined with officers at the first steps. They were entirely complicit. Only 13 arrests?? They literally allowed the looters and rioters to just walk out. They could have surrounded the capital building and arrested everyone inside:
