There was clearly support inside that building for this. The rioters completely trashed the senate parliamentarian’s office. While they trashed a lot of places it looked to me like they deliberately searched her office. They were clearly trying to find the electoral college certifications so they could rip them up. Which would have prevented Biden from being certified yesterday and could have led to some states attempting to block re-certification. This was a clear cut coup.
