After I've had more days to think about it, I believe this was a legitimate attempt coordinated by Trump of a coup. I'm not one for conspiracy but here are things that make me think this was planned:
- Shortly after the election Gina Haspel the head of the CIA went to the capital to brief Mcconnell and we never found out what it was about
- That Mike Esper firing and the firing of all the other people after the election raises eyebrows. Especially, after Trump burrowed sycophants into various government positions including the Defense Dept
- There was a report a few weeks ago where high level government officials, especially in the Defense Dept were reported as telling employees to explicitly not engage in a coup
- There are reports that after what happened, other people in the white house were given instructions to stay awy from Trump and not to talk to Trump because the implication was they may get caught up in possible legal issues
- They are saying active military and police were part of the crowd and were flashing their badges to people on site as a way to signal that they were one of them and to let them in.
This shyt smells fishy and I really think this was staged by Trump and his cronies to some extent.
