I don't hear anyone bumping it

Said scorned haters, over and over again :mjlol:.

Anyways it's driven by strong singles, streaming is making street singles relevant again. shyt that everyone fukks with, but radio doesn't play can still blow up with streams.

So Drake sells 33k albums (@ $6.99) and he keeps the #1 spot over Chili Peppers who sold 108k in the same time period? This new system is nonsense, and what makes it worse is these records he's "breaking" are supposed to be comparable to when people actually pushed an album to #1 off the strength of supporting it through purchasing it. Not just fans who are streaming it 100's of times or people who include it in their playlists and don't actually have anything invested in listening or liking the album at all.

I get that times are changing and metrics have to change with it, but they should create a separate chart for sales and streaming so it's fair to artists who actually locked down the charts with pure sales. Like this album is really fuking with The Marshall Mathers LP or Speakerboxxx/The Love Below when they were hot. It all seems like cheating to me.

think it was like 5 songs on this album i fukked with :patrice:...really doesn't speak to the quality of the album, when you hit your peak you hit your peak, regardless of what you drop. look at wayne and the way carter iv sold.
Wayne comparison doesn't work

C4 had a huge opening week but it had numerous failed first singles wasnothing from that album made any noise

There's plenty of data that shows Views is still being played and played a lot

as i said, don't speak to the quality, views aint seeing his past work IMO, but he's at his peak right now so it's a point when dominance/being the man >> the music. that said, i couldn't care less one way or another, outside of TC, drake has always been background music for me

You can't get higher than where he's currently at

it is cheating. If em was number 1 for 8 weeks he would have moved like 5 million copies. Drake just 1 million.

Views already a classic
no, it isn't:why:

Drake is the King of Pop, Rap & Dancehall simultaneously

:dead:
Nah

Meek Mill looks at them charts like :mindblown:.
Probably not, it's not a pure rap album and drake is more famous for his pop songs than his rap song, pop has always performed better than rap so just looking at it as a rap album is unfair to all rap artists that just rap
drake running the game again
maybe
