We got him an a series 6 watch and we're looking into some trackers that people can get when an older person has dementia


We think he was trying to walk home but in his confused state ended up walking in a completely different direction. He was found 6 hours away at a gas station

Thats the next step. Hes missing all of Thurs, and even now hes still a little confused but he's lucid. All praises to God, because he was walking on a highway wearing all black in pitch darkness.

We're trying to figure out between him leaving and him being found at that gas station what happened. Hes still a bit confused and all of Thur is gone, but the doctors are telling us it'll most likely come back in time. He lives with me so I'm taking more steps to prevent something like this from happening. The first time. I don't go with him to the ER this happens. Never again though.

I drive from the area he was found to Hiram every once in a while and it's mostly four lane highway. I'm glad he was found safe and unharmed.
