Gamecube and wiiU DO NOT have the same demographic as a Xbox and PS4 again you are playing dumb to prove a point. The WiiU is a Honda Civic, while the Xbox and PS4 are 2014 Challengers and Camaros aka 2 different markets. No hardcore gamer this generation is contemplating a WiiU so stop playing stupid. sitting here with both consoles and i have to say these arguments, most of them are pointless. the consoles are a lot more similar than they are different. the main difference is in the user experience not exclusive to games...just overall. theres definitely one better than the other in that regard but i havent seen one qualified argument to that or any effect.

comparisons to old consoles dont work unless you consider other factors, mainly the consumer environment at the time they were released. the audience is always changing so our behavior as consumers change. shyt happens differently because of us, and how we perceive shyt (or MADE to perceive), not really because of the actual product. i mean mcdonalds is still selling billions of microwave poop sandwiches.

lets be honest about some things. is the ps4 really selling because of games? did the original wii? is the xbox one really more fun? are you qualified to make the comparison? because all i see is a deluge of people who really dont know what theyre talking about. likely never even touched an xbox one or ps4 for that matter

Or people like me. I been playing my PS3 probably twice as much as my Xbox One and PS4 combined. The PS3 still has games coming out I'd rather play at this point. I'm not into all these filler indie titles I could have got on PC anyways. Maybe if you don't game on a PC all this filler content is impressive to you but for me consoles are for AAA games.

Folks forgetting how ugly the 360 launch was. All I had to play for months was fight night round 3, oblivion and dead rising. The latter didn't even drop until the middle of the next year. It was way worse than it is this gen.
