this really had to go 13 pages going back and forth about which city was harder between LA and oakland 
like somebody said u can get caught slipping just about anywhere without the proper security or not being plugged with the right nikkas, there are wolves and poverty in every big city in america.

What in the EBT world got this cat so amped about some Oakland nikkas catching a goofy like 2 Chainz slippin for?
Quite telling that Northern Cali cats still thirst for that respect, bragging about some hoodrats doing a jux for a couple of grand when LA gangsters be extorting these entertainers on the regular.

im one of the few san jose natives on here, 7 trees been dead since around 96. them nikkas were never deep and had to recruit out of their race just to stay alive. only asians like cambodians/viets even threw down colors like that and we all know they aint deep. lmao.

I live in the suburbs now, but I'm never too far from home.
The Eastside is all I know, downtown and West Oakland might as well be different cities to me.
There are definitely neighborhoods that I wouldn't go to without a good reason, and deep East Oakland at night is not the place to be. And I mean that from a social aspect, keeping to yourself and being aware of your surroundings will generally ensure your safety. But that's just common sense, and would apply anywhere.
I'm not sure why the negative shyt in our community has turned into a perverted sense of pride, but I won't be a part of it.

Nothing really matters...
It makes perfect sense. People like to brag about how tough they are for everything. As individuals, groups, races, communities, etc. How they'll knock out/kill anybody, how everyone they associate with is just as tough as they are, how they can go anywhere without fear. Makes sense that they'd also brag about how their community is filled with more violence than your community, and they're not scared at all.
I don't agree with it, but I now understand it. Don't see how we can change it, though.

2 Chainz was robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight Sunday in San Francisco ... TMZ has learned ... and police say the rapper's entourage fled "like cockroaches" when it all went down.
A San Francisco PD sergeant tells TMZ ... cops responded to a shots-fired call just after 4:30 PM. We're told when they got to the scene, 2 Chainz wasn't cooperative ... saying he wanted to handle it himself.
Chainz told police his wallet was stolen and that's all that happened.
Police reviewed surveillance video ... which revealed Chainz was clearly the intended target.
We're told video also shows Chainz and 14 of his people all "ran away from the incident like "cockroaches running from a flashlight."
Police are on the hunt.
