N LA is bigger so it has nice spots plus all the celebrity lifestyle n glamour still, but from what I've heard its a city full of black n mexican gangs n u can get caught slippin anywhere...

What makes ATL a destination city?

The fact that it's been the unofficial cultural capitial of black america for at least 2 or 3 generations...maybe more...the abundance of hbcus, notorious night life, and disproportionate black affluence...ATL has been a destination city for black folks, predating hip hop

Oakland isn't a destination city because of the violence. I look on TV and I see Chris Brown on TMZ with Bloods, that shyt is hilarious to me.

L.A would let anybody be down with a set. Ray-J is out there claiming Piru. L.A let nikkas like YMCMB rep actual blood sets for money. It has nothing to do with L.A being the entertainment capitol fam. It's because it's safe out there.


If it was as violent as it is out here nikkas wouldn't be buying houses out there. They would do their show or video in Hollywood and fly the fukk out as soon as it was over. 4 or 5 people don't make them a gang. I honestly never heard of any crips in the Bay. I don't be out in San Jose so it wouldn't surprise me if a handful of Asians tried to do it but if they ever made noise to the point they were recognized they would be eradicated.
