Kiffin wasn't feeling that buyout clause , that's why he didn't get it but Applewhite deserved this shot .

Of those 15 wins, 14 came against teams that were 7-6 or worse.
Of those 15 wins, 7 came against teams that were 3-9 or worse.
We beat one team in 2 years that won 8 or more games and that was due to a Hail Mary at USF.
We were favored in 23 of the 26 games that he coached.
We own the worst bowl loss in ncaa history.
We fielded the worst defense in school history this year.
Our sos this year was 103 (2nd easiest schedule we’ve played in school history).
Our new coach will have to wait several years before he has 85 scholarships because of Major’s grad transfers.

Houston is like the first step for college football coaches in Texas. They're actually low key decent.
They went from Art Briles to Kevin Sumlin to some jabroni to Tom Herman. Not bad for an AAC team.

last two big name coaches before applewhite used houston to get the texas a&m job and texas job
why not? he getting 4-5 MILLION and gets to live in and recruit the city of Houston and not in fukking West Virginia. We ALL would make this moveI guess Houston is a better football program than West Virginia.
