Thats the thing, most folks play good games. Gamepass or not.

If gamepass wasn't around, we'd still be playing these games.

It's you in here trying to fault people playing games not on gamepass.

They've raised the prices twice in the last 12 months.

Sooner or later instead of raising prices, they're going to cut developers, Lower game budgets etc.

It's more than gamepass.

Still trying to convince people on the "value" of gamepass 8 years after its launch. Its over, the market has spoken and no more than 30 million people want it so now they got to milk the existing userbase.

or raise the pricing of their existing consoles out of nowhere.

...or backdooring all their exclusives to other platforms.

Everyone's getting hit right now with the tariffs and overall COB increasing worldwide. This is beyond just Sony, Xbox and Game Pass.

Yea, I said that earlier, but you decided to keke with the Xbox stans instead of addressing that point.

5 AAA games a year is not that bad assuming you play a bunch of games a year. I play way beyond 5 games a year, and there are some previous gen games on there I never played as well. This is a great value when playing a bunch of games at $30, but decreases when you don't play a bunch of games when using the service. Can not pay until there are games on there you want to play, so you won't necessarily be spending $360 a year unless there are always game you want to play on there.
It’s bad because you don’t own the games. You’re paying the price of 5 AAA games for access to the catalog as long as you keep paying. The moment you stop your access is gone and you own nothing. The mass market is not trying to pay $30 a month for access to Game Pass.

It doesn’t really matter though because this is Microsoft’s off ramp to the business model. They can get people to quit Game Pass gradually. This won’t be the last price boost either. They’ll just keep going up on the price until most customers are gone then shutdown the service with minimal blowback when it no longer makes sense to keep it going.

Fun fact, this is the biggest monthly subscription price increase ever. Even the biggest shills are crashing out, im glad meach and titan are holding strong though. Bent but never broken, salute.
