Had I known that I would've kept my PS4 and sold my PS3 and THEN go to Japan. but I digress..
I just went to try it on my cousins PS3 and sure enough it upgraded. What's even more peculiar is that since some games are designed for PS4, running it on an upgraded PS3 makes the framerate smoother since the game is locked at 720P. I played Killzone Shadowfall and my god the MP was 60fps locked
I'm gonna go upgrade to a 4K TV right after. Subbed.
