as much as Microsoft gets criticized around here at least they're adding features and functionality constantly. It did take them a minute to get the ball rolling but now that it's started its been a constant stream of added functionality.
for sure, they dropped the ball in the beginning but the OS in the beta currently is very very impressive. i see their true direction for it now.

The Twitch Archiving that they already had is better for gaming purposes right? You can record your play sessions on Twitch and then upload it to Youtube.

Patiently waiting on this feature on PS4 to be honest with you.

How so?

If I'm not mistaken, the Xbox limits how long you can record right? So how will this be better than twitch saving your entire play session and then letting you directly cut it and upload it to Youtube? Will people be able to record gameplay for as long as they want now on their Xbox Ones?

The XB1 had way more features than the PS4 at launch, and that still applies today
The launch XB1 >>> Current PS4 feature wise
I'd go as far and say XB1 launch features >>> PS4 features til mid to late 2015 if not longer
Since sony isn't really going out there way to add new features unless they can charge for it :manny:

Cool for people who don't stream to be able to upload to YouTube
I hear some people stream at 3am :shaq:

Bruh, since you are deep rooted in the console war. You dont even care about all the info
So you can't really make an honest decision on what system is better. Thats a shame :smh:
Upload Studios is what is built into the xbox, and that limits your videos to 5min
Twitch doesn't have a limit, and this Youtube feature, they haven't said the exact amount of time we can record.
You seem to have the answer already, which is impossible for a person who doesn't pay attention.
So chill, you'll find out the truth soon enough. I'm sure you'll be salty when it comes to light like usual :ufury2:

So yeah, are you going to answer the question or nah?

If what I'm reading is correct, this new feature with GoPro/Youtube or whatever will let people upload their short lil 5 minute clips to Youtube directly. Meanwhile, if you stream on Twitch, you can archive the entire play session and then upload what you want to Youtube directly.

So as a gamer how is this new shyt better than what you can do on Twitch already on the console? This isn't even about which console is better, I'm only talking about the two different options right now that are available on the Xbox.

:comeon:

for one thing, streaming to twitch takes bandwidth. recording locally and then uploading to youtube later isn't going to effect your ingame bandwidth/ping

but ultimately it's just another option

Alot of people not interested in streaming or dont even know about it, so its a cool feature, and some internet connection isn't strong enough to stream
