UPN had a sitcom about slavery

I was huge on TV so I don’t know how I missed it (well I do because it only aired for one episode) but yeah

British comedy was pretty edgy in the 70s/80s


Plus, Jojo Rabbit turned the holocaust into a quirky coming of age comedy where Hitler was a goofy figure. It got several Oscar nominations last year.

No. The black dude was supposed to be this Slick Talking slave that got over on his master. Kind a like the TV show Benson but with a slave.

we had more representation on tv back in the day and even horrible ideas for green lit.

yes they did. But I’ll be honest I used to legit watch damn near everything i didn’t have capable until I was like 17-18 (pops got that shyt damn near my senior year)
