And the media will get incredibly sanctimonious about it and try to shame the university into firing him. "How dare someone is to THE PRESS?!" They all want the most sensational outcome, which is him being fired, so it'll be their preference.

The case can be made, though, that he's a highly paid public employee that misled the booster base. Sort of similar to making false claims and misleading investors, maybe (?). shyt like this isn't great for recruiting either. We're at a highly sensitive time for stuff like this (public disgracing, improper responses as it relates to female victims, abuses of power).
