But those same Nebraska and um teams didn't "blow everyone out" either.

Nebraska won a game by a touchdown
UM won a game by a late int returned for a TD.

So.....with that NO team should be mentioned goat. Oh and that FSU team only scored the most points ever but did it in the fewest plays as well.

You're not referring to the 95 Nebraska squad cause nobody came within 10 points of them ALL season

01-03 Canes id put up against any squad in history

Pick any of those teams from those 3 years and put em up against anybody, the talent level is out of control on those Canes squads....that's all I have to say

Oh yea, Urban Cryer has officially lost his damn mind. I think he may be experiencing some heart trouble talking like that man smh

That said I might be a tad bit biased....just a smidgen

:mjlol:

Y'all beat my school by 3 points in the last 13 seconds. W is a W but when it comes to best teams of all time, you better be blowing everyone one out.

I'll go with the 90's Nebraska teams, '01 Miami, 70's OU teams, maybe a few others before '13 FSU.

How Sway?

So the Noles winning a close game in the National Championship game to a previously undefeated Auburn team that went through the SEC gauntlet unscathed nullifies their season, but the 01 Canes barely getting by BC and VT goes overlooked? Got it.

@Silkk you too young to remember but 1998 was a pretty good year for fukkery. Arkansas actually pissed away a chance to win the SEC and a possible national title because Clint Stoerner the QB tripped and fumbled ball away vs Tennessee allowing them to survive. Kansas St beat Nebraska for first time in years due to the refs missing some blatant facemask late the game on Eric Crouch. UCLA and Kansas St both blew a chance to play in 1st BCS title game on final day allowing FSU who had beat #4 Florida with its 3rd string QB 2 earlier to make game. Ohio St had it's best team in years and gagged a 15 point lead away to Nick Saban led Michigan State at home leading to this.

That damn Stoerner fumbled STILL has me  to this day. How in the he11 do you trip and fumble? That game was a classic tho :wow:

Washington St was only regular season game 95 Nebraska trailed in. Anyone arguing against 95 Nebraska wasn't watching CFB hardcore at the time or just being a straight homer. Nebraska from 93-97 was one of the best runs in CFB history and won't be matched anytime soon.

For the person that said 01-03 Miami talent wise hell yeah but Coker was a fukking punk I can't give them the full cosign.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
*I think the 2001 Hurricane team is a top 5-10 team of all-time, but definitely not some undisputed GOAT. People conflate stuff that's outside the realm of on field performance with that team (e.g. draft picks, NFL success, etc). For me, it's about what you actually did on the field against your peers in the era you played in. There were times they were simply overwhelming (Washington game at night in the OB) and other times not so much. Simply put, I don't think they dominated their competition to the point where you can say GOAT, and I saw every game.

*I think '95 Nebraska is clearly the GOAT team as far as on field performance.

* I don't know where I rank the '96 Gators, but they were very, very good. I hated Ike Hilliard, Reidel Anthony and Jacquez Green for a long ass time.

* The '13 'Noles would've had a claim if they would've kicked Auburn's ass thoroughly. Auburn had our play calls for a half, though. Ultimately, they still caught that L. This year, though? There will be blood. :demonic:
