USC D had one bad half they actually shut the Beavs down in that second half. Oregon State was on par with Ole Piss as well that year 08 made no fukking sense to me. Texas beat Oklahoma by 10 on a neutral field but since OU ran the score up on everyone they got the nod. Florida loses at home but they run it up on everyone. To be real I think Utah could've fukked with any of the top 4 that year.

I think us beating an undefeated Bama squad with NO Harvin was the best win that year though. That was a weird as year overall, but NOTHING like the shytty 2007 season

Because YOU mentioned their lb's and i'm telling you that we had 3 nikkaz in the backfield who did damage.
You brought up their only loss as an indictment against them when UF had an even worse loss that same year. I don't care if you think UF was the best team THAT season (though I disagree), but to go as far as saying that team is better than '01 Miami?? :rudy:

I said the same thing. Most dominant team Pete had there

What was your take on the 2002 Trojans? They played a crazy schedule a throwback to the early 90's and went 11-2. They lost to top 5 Kansas St on road and lost in OT at top 10 Washington St. They ran Iowa,Notre Dame, at Oregon, at Colorado Oregon St and at UCLA out the stadium and beat a top 20 Auburn as well.

That's the best 2 loss team I've ever seen. By the time they played in the Rose Bowl, I think they could've beaten any team.

I always felt that 99 squad y'all had was :wow: and people gloss over them probably cause of the whole Dillards thing.

Warrick
Minnis
Coles (before he got 86'd)
Dugans
Atrews Bell
Boldin
Minor in the backfield

:wow:

I ain't knocking them I think top to bottom out of the 3 NC teams FSU has I rank them 3rd. I think a couple of non championship teams would rank ahead of them as far as teams in my lifetime. I'll take 87,96,97 and 91 ahead of them. :yeshrug:

A CLINIC --

One thing about Pete Carroll in his early years were those 2nd half adjustments they fukking destroyed teams in the 2nd half of games. I went to a couple games when they play ND in the Coliseum they beat the shyt out of those cats in the 2nd half. Was like watching 2 different games Matt Leinart pretty much won a Heisman off of one of those games.

Yessir - that's exactly how they did ND that day too. Only time I ever saw it go the other way was in the '08 Rose Bowl when they took their foot off the gas on Penn State.. but they were already up 31-7 at the half :heh:

I wasn't watching then, i didn't start watching until late in the 03 season(i was like 12). Happened to catch a discussion on ATH about who the real national champion was and how microsoft wanted to do a USC vs LSU matchup but LSU was too pussified to agree. Been hooked ever since :blessed:

Yeah I sat up in the old olympic seats at one of those games in a damn rainstorm and you could see the red sea open up whenever SC had the ball. I was calling fukking plays like I was a fukking OC. I think this was the game Ty Willingham got the :camby:over a couple days later. That nikka Justin Tuck disappeared SC OL told him to
