On a sidenote, with that said, I never really thought too much about it. I have mixed feelings about this, like if a woman offered to buy or pay for a man to eat, drink, etc...I'd get the assumption, from her first impressions of meeting him, she's implying that he's broke and can't afford his own meals and beverages on some “brokey” shyt.
I understand the kind gesture, but there are many ways this can be interpreted, so I don't agree with Mr. Urkel on the notion that if a woman is buying and paying for a man to eat and drink, it is a win; it could be her throwing shade or trying to see if you got money, basically she's testing you to see where your pockets stand, if you accept she might get the impression your bank account is lacking.
Y'know some women want men who can afford their own way. There are a lot of women who get turned off by the idea of having to pay for a guy to eat, or the idea of men who can't pay their way and she gotta cover his tab.
