Danny Myers should run thru those ultimate madness nikkas

yea never understood why he’s not more respected.

Why do more people seem to like hitman holla over aye verb? Always thought verb was better by far

holla has better showmanship, but everything else verb is better at

People just don’t Like Verb, I’m in the category. It’s not a east coast bias either, I gave him the battle tonight and He’s clearly talented but he lacks something and idk what it is or maybe he’s just unlikable as a battle rapper idk.

Or It might just purely be what Geechi said in his second:russ:

the land of oochie wally AND one mic
The way this event ended was anticlimactic as hell. What the fukk was that? :why:

I expected more from Lux. shyt -- Surf even. This battle was several months in the making and that’s the performance they put on? :snoop:

*sighs*

At least we got one classic out of this shyt.

Californ-i-a by way of BK
Lux was fire not sure what the fukk people are talking about in this thread.

A few quick thoughts beyond that:

Daylyt had performance of the night, Mike P was decent, Roc was good (just not in the stratosphere of Day), Verd was solid, Geechi was ok (second was fire though), Saga’s 3rd had the chance to be DOPE but of course he was kinda unnerved by the time he got around to it and didn’t even get through that shyt clean (nikkas performance was hard to watch though; bamma was short circuiting up there and overwhelming the stage). Surf had some shyt too but of course the choking kinda overshadows that.

Card was kinda what it was given that damn near half the battles were impacted by choking, but there were some good performances.
Yeah I gotta watch it. I saw the little end of Lux third and he was bugging. Twitter said Lux look was cooking.

215 Uptown!
I was gonna argue Surf being biggest disappointment...but Saga choked 2 and stumbled through a third of his other. Its close :patrice:. Surf had damn near half a year with the world locked down to get this shyt down.

I agree with the best rappers in order except swap Lux and Mike P (which is a crazy fukkin statement)

We not gonna act like this is a pattern for Saga. Surf is known to do this.

The good thing for Saga is he's in a tournament that's starting literally a week from now. He makes it to the finals and people won't even remember this choke.

But shout out to Mike P. He's proved that he's "Main Stream Mike"

Don’t know whose Caffeine main event performance was more underwhelming

Twork’s against Geechi or Surf’s against Lux

Verb in the chat sayin Surf gotta see JC now:mjlol:

:mjlol: I was thinking Cortez but JC too.

Surf bodied himself if anything; can't say Lux bodied anything with those bars he was spitting. Outside of the second half of Lux's 3rd, their overall material was at the same level. Surf half assed his preparation, Lux half assed too (as far as what he's capable of). 2-1 clear Lux.

Ok, I won't bullshyt you....Surf did really beat himself to an extent. However, before the battle....you do certain things to make it seem like you are ready...you do certain things to make it seem like...you have the upper hand when you probably don't. I don't know how you see that but that counts for me. Like bruh, now matter how ass Lux was for real...on a paper...it's a career battle that was talked up. We all know that and can't dispute it. A no show to the face off then choke two to three times in the battle. And this is me being fair...a not so bad opening...decent 2nd...very short third. And that 3rd once again, shows a pattern of what Surf's done before.

Now, my only problem with Lux...he was a bit slow and dragging with the angles. I'd say quicker punches in between with the angles would have worked and he did that a lot in the 2nd. But I got Lux 3-0 clear, dirty or gentlemen's. I can see someone giving Surf maybe the 2nd but I liked the point Lux was making then.
