Verb definitely has a crazy resume across 3-4 eras and has adapted to this new era better than pretty much all of his era’s peers. He’s like the Vince Carter of the Battle Rap.

However, him and Surf both greatly benefit from being able to sell fights and get under other battler’s skin and are both marginally overrated.

People judge Lux on what he’s capable of rather then what he’s been consistently giving us for years now.

Calicoe/Hollow/Flex freestyle are outer space moments. It’s just not realistic to expect battlers to reach that kind of space too often.

7 months prep, and as many angles on Surf as there are, that was a fair expectation. Maybe he likes Surf personally, and couldn't get too crazy. Same with Arsonal. Lux needs a real grudge match. After Daylyt, he should take JC if he gets himself together.

Surf, Verb in at a time when battle rap was selling out venues, so they ain't use to the small room shyt. Lux, Mook n them came from the small rooms. It's easier for them to adapt to the big stage, than it is for surf and them to battle in a small room. Ain't no gas in them small rooms.

how is it fair expectations to expect someone to battle like they did 6 years ago?

I suppose I should expect Verb to battle like he did against Hollow?
