Seeing this back makes me appreciate it a lil more cuz who he was impersonating became clearer to me.
Although Day won the battle, I have a new respect for Roc. Roc showed he doesn’t need a crowd to be fire. Roc was at level 10, he just ran into the best Daylyt ever. This is why Daylyt is so frustrating. We knew he had the ability, he just never fully put it together before yesterday. That was an all time great performance.
I want Lux to be the underdog. He’s been coasting. He knows who isn’t on his level. He knows what Day is about.
I don’t think Lux viewed Surf as a threat he really lil bro’d Surf I think Lux knows what type of bag he has to hop in with Day like he did with Hollow
If we get the day from yesterday vs the lux against hollow.... and they both have that same energy.... could be the best rap battle ever.. needs to be in a crowd and unlimited though. But they both gotta come with it. Warm up battle before summer madness should be day vs nitty. But day has to put on at least a good performance and get a W. Lux can sit the fukk down until this day battle and start writing as of yesterday and prepare. Only thing before that can be a 2v2 but no more battles. I kept hoping to see this day ever since I saw his la leakers freestyle... no dumb shyt wearing no extra shyt or being extra. And roc is my guy and did his thing.. but he was a fan on that stage against day. We all loved that shyt from day. Hope he’s done with the dumb shyt. He sounded happy as hell and knew they just created a classic...

its has to be in a small room, less crowd the better.
I know where you coming from with that but to me, that type of battle has to be in a crowd. I think even day and lux agreed it has to be on a big stage and crowd. Smack can’t even book more than 2 battles for this if it’s unlimited. I need that tension, that atmosphere, I need the crowd to go crazy. Lol
