Surf is a mid tier battle rapper with a top tier fan base. I said back when surf was trying to little boy jc that surf is mr debatable can count his clear wins on one hand and has choked and jersey'd in half his battles who the hell is he to down play anyone?
And at this point surf is just not top tier how many top tier battle rappers have surf lost to?
Tsu Surf is low-key just Dolph Ziggler -living off the memory of a few years ago when he cared and legitimately was good, but now his heart ain't in it and they trot him out there every so often in the main event to do what he does best - show flashes of promise en route to an expected loss. But he's the gatekeeper everyone has to get through to be seen as top tier, because beating Surf is just a hurdle you're expected to clear on the way to being respected.

i think it’s like you said earlier. We think too high of lux and don’t expect much from day so when day in his bag, we tend to feel it more... but can you imagine they both would have been promoting there battle and went to hot 97 and dropped these freestyles back to back like when goodz and top went to hot 97 before they battled??
