Twork is versatile. He can perform and has a pen. And he’s actually believable. These other pen guys aren’t believable.

You just can't trust him. He's as likely to have a great performance as he is to miss the battle or choke.

It's the lines you don't see coming that hit the hardest. That alone separates Lux from Nitty and everyone else on this card. I had the PPV on throughout, it was a struggle to listen to lol. Everyone raps too formulaic.

And I'm actually surprised how sharp Lux was today. Preparation, delivery, timing. Barely any ring rust.

I think this is a huge issue in battle rap. The earlier generation of battle rappers made music as well which required you to have your own style. Biting is exceptable now, plus a lot of these guys are only battle rappers without any really ambition to make music.

I'm probably one of the few who liked Nitty better before. I think he overperforms now.

It's not that cut and dried for me, Nitty "overperformed" his bars vs Twork and it added to the intensity of the battle

I picked Rum just like you did.

However, I was almost going to change my pick when Nitty/Mccody dropped last yesterday. I watched a little bit and was like nah there’s just no way this shyt can work against Lux. I know that Rum isn’t going to come at Lux like he did Quest. Battlers prepare based on their opponent. It’s just Rum’s style.

Nitty was the safe pick. Lux has not been consistent and was stumbling way too much for me. I was predicting an embarrassing lost that had him reevaluating if he can truly do this anymore.

This is exactly what I was predicting. He really 30’d a truly good nitty. It doesn’t even make sense
