Great vet to have in the locker room.

What does that have to do with a 35 yr old LB with diminished skills/value? Falcons have 5.5 milly left to spend on an impact defensive FA...Urlacher would be great in the locker room, but we have a solid group as is. We need playmakers, not retreads

Fresh you the homie, but besides Urlacher being old & having lost most if not all of his lateral movement, he's 35, just turned down his former squad's hometown discount & the Falcons defense is trying to get younger. Why would we even entertain this?

We have no one better at the moment :manny:

That's what the draft/Free Agency is for breaughther :smugfavre: We goin DE/CB with our free agency pick & probably will draft a LB. I just don't think Urlacher helps us long or even short term.

Never know he may have a little bit left in the tank.Change of scenery, feeling rejuvenated and wanting to prove people wrong. He may surprise people.

With our cap number & him turning down that $2 milly offer from CHI, I don't think he'd give a team he's never played on in a city he's never played in a better deal. Do you really think it makes sense to give a 35 yo Brian Urlacher a Multi yr, 4-5 million dollar contract in 2013 with our holes at DE & CB unaddressed? LB isn't a priority on this D (even tho I agree it could & needs to be improved)

This one hurts a bit. The Lovie one I understood. It won't feel right seeing him in another uniform. It my bring a tear to my eye if I see that.

Urlacher was an incredible talent but time waits for no man. He's a top 5 all time Bear player, he should retire, he'd still be very rich.
