Nothing too crazy. I expected about a 7/ 7.5 out of 10. So far it been a 3 or 4 imo

I fell asleep, so I didn't get to see the rest of the battles. However, I have never thought male vs female matches make really good battles. They're okay, and can be entertaining. They're like 2v2 to me.

I never understand why when a female gets hot, nyggas say they should battle dudes. Now that someone like Official has battled a million dudes, just how many of those battles are memorable?

She winning like I predicted

We said prior to the battle that should could hold her own. Nyggas weren't listening.

The fact that she even accepted the battle tells me she believed she's going to win. I don't think Jaz will battle anyone who she thinks can beat her. In addition, she comes to these battles well prepared.

Exactly. I think people's disdain for Jaz was clouding their judgment on the battle. Contrary to the Mike P battle, and common belief, Geechi typically has close battles. His run mirrors Tay Roc's not Charlie Clips. He made his career off consistently being prepared and not slacking, not for dominating opponents. Especially ones who are well prepared and good anglers, which Jaz is both. I'm not a big Jaz fan, but her battle rap IQ is up there with anyone you can name. Like you said, of the people who battle the least, she's the most strategic in who she picks. She only picked Gotti because she knew she could beat him. Or at least do well enough to make it a debatable.

I wonder what it's going to take for him to cool off. Geechi is cemented as a top tier headliner. He can go up there and burp for three rounds and he'll still get booked for big events. However, I do think he will cool off. For Tay Roc, it was when he battled Goodz/Pat Stay/Hitman. That was a really bad stretch for him.

Why cool off if you getting 40k a battle? Just half ass every battle and you'll be good. His fans already think he be winning every battle even though he lost battles clearly.

Thats not what i meant

Tay Roc was on fire and cooled off in the eyes of the fan during that stretch that I mentioned. It is going to happen. It’s just a matter of when.

Went to the event in Charlotte & had a good ass time. Vixen’s performance against Roc impressed the hell out of me. Clips had the best moment of the night in terms of crowd reaction with the Jesus act. Very small group of people booing certain rappers that caused them to stop rapping mid-verse which was wack. Overall the women performed much better than I thought they would which made it a dope card imo.

Thing is I think that was the best Jaz has to offer and that was a lazy Gotti. If Gotti had to stand in front of Vixen bars from last night he clearly gets bodied. Jaz ducking people like Vixen and Fit because they will smoke her boots. She definitely cherry-picking her match cuz she not like that. And with the lazy Gotti I still think she lost, he basically gave her the third.

I thought she won 2-1 pretty clear. Third obviously, and the second. I think Geechi edged the first. I don't think that was the best Jaz. I've seen way better Jaz performances (40 Barrs, Gattas performances were way better than this). This was a standard Geechi. I felt they both were at B level.

The thing with Geechi is, he can do the bare minimum and get away with it. That's what separates him. I don't think we've ever seen anything like this in battle rap where conviction, disrespect and believability carried someone so far.

40barrs choked every round it wasn’t a battle
Gattas was rapping like it was 2010
Jaz wasn’t good her opponents were so bad the crowd was riding with her

I think Tay Roc acting tuff like a CORNBALL when he linked up with Surf cooled him off the most.

The fake threats. The SMD talk. The lashing out at anyone tryna tell him to chill out. His chain gettin snatched and bein fake. Just corny shyt.

Pat Stay punking him on stage and Goodz making him look like an inferior worker added to the heavy dents in his image.

He went from the People’s Champ to disliked during that time
