This country is at the point where catastrophic failures will have to be regular occurrences for people to care or take notice of what is happening. As things are now, most of the American populous is just zombie walking through their day to day lives.

You cannot combat China economically while telling allies to fukk off or blowing up free trade order. You have to isolate China by uniting as many countries as possible in trade agreements.
