ive experienced this first hand back in high school. another black freshman and i got into a little scuffle in the lunchroom.... after taking us to office they put us in handcuffs and took us to the police station made our parents come to pick us up from there.
JUST finished talking about this to my all white female students who are in the educational training program I'm in.
Every single one of them are white females. The majority of teachers in the U.S. are white females, who are teaching blk kids. When those cultures clash little kids shyt like horseplaying or a scuffle becomes a criminal offense. Blk boys are overrepresented and over identified for Special Education. Not based off IQ testing. Not based off academic ability. But because he was a boy who wanted to move and got tired of sitting down in kindergarten and his white female teacher recommended him for services b/c he hates her boring class.
When I was a special education facilitator one of the first things I did was force my department to do a data dive and look at all 159 EC students in our building. The majority were blk. Over 70% of them had been referred for SLD over 10 years ago. Some were still in remedial classes despite having EXTREMELY high IQs and none were talented gifted.
I was NOT allowed to exit these students despite having academic and psychological reports after re evaluations because having them identified as being EC meant we got money from the government.
I don't have time to get into it but people don't know why I'm so passionate about education. Prison, life outcomes, economic outcomes, drop out rates, pregnancy rates, gang recruitment, community enrichment---it all starts with school and learning.

They tried to do that to my bro, but my mom’s a former and was having NONE of that and asked her for reports, tests, etc. he just struggled with English a bit. Needless to say, that white bytch devil backed off.
Tried to give me Ritalin and put me in detention at 7 for finishing my work early and apparently disturbing the kids around me. This idiot teacher called my mother and told her to do something. When my mom asked her why she hadn’t given me more and more challenging work like they teach you to in college, she started on some bullshyt. My mom ended up telling her to get retrained before she called her friends at the local govt and papers and filed a complaint for both incompetence and racism. Needless to say, we never had further problems.
Sad that so many other black kids wind up with their lives ruined because their parents don’t have that knowledge
Governments gonna gov.I wish this could be dilivered without the narrative push... but it’s good data, and I’m glad it’s public.

I'm all for empirical data and letting the evidence speak for itself and not having the narrative shape the evidence. But we know the narrative isn't wrong though.

I also read schools like separate black males due to standardize testing. This is a major cash cow for schools, because their funding accreditation comes from how well students perform. Studies show that standardized tend to have a cultural bias, which contributes to why african american perform worse, when controlling for grades and ses.....
