People are going to have to stop believing everything the "news media" puts out there. It's always somewhere in the middle between 2 sides. Nobody is telling the full truth. Propaganda comes from both sides.

People really need to study history to see how situations came to be the way they are today.
But most people don't care and won't study, so they will be fooled by whatever propaganda and political side they lean to.

I honestly believe the US already knows Putin has plans outside of the Ukraine. I've switch between the Ukraine gifts are a waste of money back to there is a hidden war raging right now we aren't even fully aware of. This is the only explanation that makes sense to me to explain why we are sinking so much resources into the Ukraine as if it's was our own territory. They want to bleed Russia dry before the future hot conflict kicks off. Also, Putin himself have been dropping hints he isn't anywhere near done and the party is just getting started.

I think Putin has plans to take over major parts of Europe that it feels it has claim to such as most of the former Soviet block and Ukraine is just the opening salvo before escalation to direct conflict. China is probably in on it to the extent they will use the conflict to take over territories they feel belong to them.

This isn't just a test to show of strength. The government is preparing for something in the future they think will likely happen. It's also why I think a lot of stories about the "weakness" of our military have been printed lately like the low recruitment numbers. They are seeding the public with panic to make comfortable with the justification for when the state will need to make hard decisions in the future (i.e. making use of selective service or a draft) to engage in violent conflict. They are indirectly telling you since enough of you aren't volunteering, per the recruitment goals, hard decisions may need to be made in the future to rectify that issue.

It's been a while since we had a genuine conflict between large powers. Maybe the time of relative peace for westerner is coming to an end and constant war and violence is around the corner.

think less of it as so much resources but a cheaper avenue to destroying or weakening america's greatest adversary. putin gifted a proxy war to america and NATO. yes the U.S is spending billions but russia is losing much more now and for the foreseeable future. no active duty american soldiers have died and our infrastructure isn't being damaged because of this conflict. putin is being beaten by western weapons but has no justification to retaliate militarily against the west.

I also was going to say, I think all the far-right forces rising in the west had some outside help from external adversaries who use them as destabilizing forces in their home countries and this shyt has probably been planned on a sophisticated level since before the 2010. Trump being part of that, imo. But I didn't want to get into that in that post. But, if shyt pops off, there is no doubt these far right folks will act as an insurgent force during that time which will result in the country not being able to effectively defend itself from outside threats since it's busy dealing with internal violence. By design.

I remember reading a story that somewhere around 2017 or 2019, the CIA noticed a lot of intelligence assets in China and Russia were disappearing. They supposedly even had a dude they cultivated for over a decade who was a personal advisor to Putin that they had to extract because they got word he was in danger of being found out. Then you have a former president with "human intelligence Intel" at his private residence with whatever the fukk. You have Russian window cancer popping up more than ever with a a surprising amount of them in the DC area which means they have a network in the country already which isn't surprising. If they can kill and murder critics here in the US without fear, why not also use that same network to target for example, a real estate tyc00n who is rumored have ties to the Russia mafia through his business, large debts due to bad business practices, and a fragile ego


All this shyt feels like we are in the soft war period where high level spy games are played until one side decide to use more violent means like bombs and troops.

It seems like you have alot of insight into geo-politics. I have read, actually more like perused some online articles about the CIA assets disappearing, and some of the speculation was Trump was either being lazy, or malicious/intentionally feeding assets up. I honestly wouldn't ever be surprised by anything. The shyt that the CIA has done/are capable of is beyond thought/comprehension. All these James Patterson novels, and the like, like whatever Hollywood can dream up are realities, all over the world. I am neutral on it, because the winner writes the history books, and wherever you are born, or rather, wherever your loved ones are, that is where your loyalty lies. I'm obviously pro-US, but I just know that, someday, everybody will have to answer for what humans do to each other. We will wipe each other out.
