A congresswoman was shot in the head, kids were shot and the gun laws haven't changed. IMO that right there tells you we are about as far as we can go democratically.

At this point approaching the issue from a gun control standpoint is waste of time. Guns are not being turned in, and will only become easier to get as 3d printer technology advances.

We need to explore other options...:manny:

Funny thing is you (the US) don't want gun control and yet y'all pray and cry when kids get shot for no reason :beli:

I know who i voted for but alot of "White" voters vote these b*stards in and put them in positions of power voting against their own self interest... I can only vote in nyc. i dont vote in midterm elections because at the end of the day it's not important to me.

From what i see it's mostly in these white states where these politicians come up with these ridiculous laws and are so out of touch with the american public it's hilarious, like missouri, colorado, arizona, I never been to these places.

If people are on here against gun control that's on them. I'm for it in a way... but lets' be serious major gun control laws will never pass in the govt... it's not gonna happen...

That's what I'm saying breh, the US can fight wars in the Middle-East and kill Ben Laden but can't protect its schools, and no one can do shyt about that so...:yeshrug:

because huge chunks of money go into the military and black ops projects. they dont care for the people seriously. when have you ever seen the govt give the american people 1 billion for rebuilding their lands after a natural disaster or flooding or medical care and education and building affordable housing that's cost effective for people who dont make 50k a year and need help?

...NEVER. but we got 90+ billion for bombs and drones and guns... which is sad...

but what about the shooters freedom to express himself? nothing says individual liberties like being able to mop a kid across a cafeteria.

America is in dire straights when it comes to gun issues and until the Federal government steps up(unlikely) or voters do (even more unlikely) things will not change. This is due to gun control being very split on party lines so like everything in this country split on those lines we will never see anything come to fruition as far as a meaningful change is concerned. Another underlying theme as far as I'm concerned when it comes to gun rights is white supremacy. the black militant camp will scream up in down that they are for our "protection" but I don't see it that way in practice and in all reality that story usually ends in tears whether the guy is legal, veteran, on/off duty cop, not even to mention the countless pointless killings that take place across inner cities daily in the US with illegally obtained weapons. With the amount of bloodshed we've seen so far and the failure to implement change since, that time and time again one can only draw that conclusion that things will never change here.

No one is sitting back, and this idea that we can some how prevent bad things like this from happening through any kind of legislation is silly.

:snoop:Gun hate is unreal.
It ain't "gun hate" to say that we need to find ways to nip school shootings in the bud. NO crime can be flat out eradicated by legislation, that's common sense, but nikkas can't just sit by and say whatever :aicmon: It may not be as simple as "pass this law" or "send these guys to therapy" but something can be done.

As far as the main topic...the sensor idea sounds dumb as shyt for reasons nikkas have already mentioned...

For the amount of money they're wasting on these, you could probably hire a fukking therapist and treat mental illness.

:scust:
i gotta say im surprised i see this sentiment in the thread :ehh:

if any of you dudes have a reliable way to screen and treat every possible mental illness, for human beings that are all fukkin different, im all ears :heh:

Shootings tend to occur in gun free zones where there is no one to contest the gun man... Just sayin :yeshrug:
