was it evil when manufacturing jobs were leaving this country by the millions because of free trade agreements like nafta, and clinton told all those newly out of work people that they had to go back to school and get tech educations to try and prepare themselves for the new realties of a global workplace? the other day on the radio they were playing clips of pelosi, obama, and bernie sanders talking about the need for tariffs.

it's ugly, but evil isn't the word i'd use. for Black people, it's unfortunate that we weren't better prepared.

No one gives a fukk about those coal mining, oil drilling jobs when they're priced out of getting groceries.

Tariffs are used to protect specialized industries. Not to start trade wars that produce hyper inflation to start "negotiations"
