The Americans didn’t liberate any of these countries from colonist rule
Saying a brutal dictatorship is better than colonial rule is not saying anything at all, especially considering that the transitions were from legally elected leftist governments, not from colonialism

Is China even as aggressive as the old Soviet Union, it's a one party totalitarian state sure but they don't seem nearly as hell bent on spreading their ideology as opposed to just hustling their ginormous and fast growing economy rather than true political ideology while the Soviets generally wanted to spread their brand of Marxism across the globe.
