One Of The Last Real Ones To Do It
If you took constitutional law then you already know that it ain't worth shyt where Black people are concerned. The abolitionist movement isn't what ended slavery. People had been calling for the end of slavery for as long as there was slavery in this country, and that didn't affect the slave trade not one iota. Ultimately it was the northern industrialist jews deciding on how the west would be settled is what put in motion the events that ended slavery, just like it was industrialists like the Rockefellers who would later push for the financing of Black businesses. Why? Because in the long run it would ultimately benefit them. Read some Howard Zinn, and then read the books he cites as sources.
I'm not interested in struggling with honkeys over their interpretation of the constitution and I don't care if that crakkka steps down or not. You and your friendly whites can go do that. Him stepping down wouldn't change the fact that we're still last in every measurable statistic that tracks the progress of a people, while leading most every category that follows the decline.
The constitution is vapid like all laws except for property rights and when you realize that you realize how to really use it and to move in this country. Its why even though Malcolm talked a good game, Martin could literally move mountains.
Read Frederick Douglas to understand the civil war. Read Derrick Bell to understand Civil rights. Howard Zinn opinion means nothing to the black struggle. Douglas and Bell touch on the stuff you mention but from the black perspective.
With that said the fact you don't see how the abolitionist movement got us to the civil war tells me your neck deep in Prager U/white supremacist propaganda even if your intent is to critique them. Those abolitionist white people were the equivalent of MAGA in their day in disrupting the system to promote freedom among black people. We could use that energy and conviction these days.
