He's not completely incorrect.
Klinsman was an underwhelming coach that got exposed time and time again for his shytty tactics and personnel decisions. But at the same time, that USMNT squad simply CANNOT compete at the level of, say, Brazil, Ecuador or Mexico. There's a fairly noticeable lack of talent in that squad.
You guys lack understanding if you think a national federation's objective failings is due to lack of talent.
Talent doesn't matter, because there's nothing you can do about not having great players you can call up.
what
does matter is being a terrible manager making consistently bad tactical judgement.
If your team is medicore, it's your job as a MANAGER to make them the best medicore team they can possibly, with the RIGHT tactics.
The UMSNT are not expected by anyone, not even Sunil, to win a world cup. The USMNT are judged by their expectations to meet goals they've met before.
He's not being fired because the USMNT is trash or
even because they lost the first 2 matches of the qualifying rounds, but because of the
MANNER in which they lost.
And did you just mention Mexico and Ecuador?
The USMNT and Mexico go back to back with each other. Mexico has been on the same level of us this entire century.
Mexico aren't CONMEBOL level, breh.
I'm asking again, do you guys actually pay attention to soccer?
