US title been more relevant than the IC

I haven't watched Raw this year, but I keep up by reading ya'll's show recaps.

Curious: forget whether it's bigger than the IC title, is the US Belt more important than the WWE World Championship?

No..the purpose was to give him a title he could talk up every week and put himself over in title defenses while Reigns got a push to the very top. Fans flipped on that shyt though.

since Mania and has the opportunity to continue dominance if the booking is done right.

They need to give the belt to KO and have him feud with Sami when he returns. That's a good 4-5 months of booking.

Might as well give the IC belt to Cena and continue the open challenge thing.

IC title was getting back to prestige when Ziggler had it. Then they put the title on Daniel and he fell apart again. If either of them had the titles it would be right up there with the US title...But yeah US title on Cena's waist was a great idea cause the writers and company actually have a reason to invest in it...they aint gonna bury Cena in senseless fueds like the other champs. How many times has any other champ had an opportunity to main event anything. Most of the IC matches last year were curtain jerking show stealers. So much underutilized talent its ridiculous. There is some good money matches out there that could be big fueds. And when Brock had the main title and was off the screen they missed a huge opportunity to make those belts more important. It seems like WWE isn't willing to elevate people unless its through Cena. Coulda had Reigns, Ziggler, Rollins, Ambrose, Cena, Daniel, Orton, Harper, Bray Wyatt, Rusev, Cesaro and Ryback in main event matches when the WWE title wasn't being defended. Not to mention the tag titles...All the titles should be treated as important but they aren't. Even if its Raw and Smackdown. They gotta change up the format every now and then. Monday proved that people will enjoy it.

The problem is Ryback has no contenders. Miz is wack now. Ryback vs Sheamus would be a good fued for the belt
