This. He's blowing up the economy and then getting mad that Powell won't cut rates. To be clear, cutting interest rates right now would increase inflation as well. The goal should be reversing all 2025 tariffs. It's not going to stop prices from rising but at least it will cut the stove off.
Only way out of this is congress doing their job and restoring their power on this. But as long as Johnson is Speaker it's not happening. I think republicans in the senate would have no issue shytcanning tariffs if the road was clear.
