American crowds have never been like that.
In US collegiate sports, the fans go crazy. I prefer going to a college ice hockey or basketball game over a pro game. The speed and skill level is much higher in a pro game, no doubt about that. But the fan experience is lame at a pro game compared to a college game. Most people are schmoozing and not even paying attention to the game.

Only thing coming close are the MLS matches between Seattle and Portland
I have a friend who went to Portland games. He told me it's on another level, the fan support and experience. I think he got addicted to that. I didn't quite believe him until I watched a game on the television. It's like they were in Mexico.

It's not just Euro fans, it's every other fan that is not a jaded American that gets down for their squad. Look at Japanese baseball fans and Caribbean baseball fans. I think Hockey fans are the closest you'll get to that same vibe.

When teams are franchises rather than community pillars, these things happen.

The disconnect among fans, players, and teams will only continue to grow.

fukking owners holding cities hostage for updated billion dollar stadiums is just :scust:

Watch as NBA teams doing poorly use Seattle as a bargaining chip..

"Oh you dont want to spend for a new arena?:mjpls: "

Newspaper headlines the next week will be

"Bucks possibly moving to Seattle".

It's fukking truly disgusting.
