This man will do to America what he's done to every single business he's ever run: ruin it. We are still trying to get over the damage ronald reagan did, and that was over 40 years ago. There will be a continued uncoupling of the rest of the world from america. You can't hold global security, finance, and communications hostage to the political outcomes of a country where nearly half of the adults do not read at even a high school level. That is like entrusting all of your finances to an alcoholic with fukking brain damage that once upon a time used to be a decent accountant.
The tragedy is that the delusion of white supremacy will pull europeans into america's death spiral. They know that their only option right now is to work with China while they develop their own security structure, tech "walled garden" and making in-roads within China, Korea, Brazil, Japan, Nigeria, India, etc. around buying more Euros as a reserve currency and cashing out some of their US govt. Bonds. However, part of me wonders maybe the reason they're scared to do this is because of the reputation they have in those countries as former colonizers. It's too humiliating for them to admit what they did to the people who now(with the exceptions of China, Korea, and Japan are actually growing in population and increasing their education, life expectancy, and average worker competency while theirs is going in the opposite direction.
America has coasted off its post-ww2 status for too long. Once America decided it hated black people more than it loved being a functional nation and elected a white supremacist TWICE into office, it was a wrap. It's more so a case of Israeli interest aligning with American interests, rather than a case of American interest bending backwards in favor of israeli ones. As we speak, America is doing something very similar with Guyana where we are using all sorts of poetic language about freedom to prop them up so that we can secure both their oil and Venezuelan oil for Chevron shareholders.
