Can somebody help me understand the issue with relaxing the embargo and travel. I hear CNN say the older Cubans that are in Florida are upset because of everything they went through in the past but do the older Cubans consider how this generation of Cubans feel about these actions.

I will do all in my power to block the use of funds to open an embassy in Cuba. Normalizing relations with Cuba is bad idea at a bad time.

They always wanna get in the way of progress. I mean Obama ain't perfect either especially with race relations but how in the hell is normalizing relations a bad idea at a bad time? These guys are stuck in a time warp for real.

I would not say it is a win.

And I am shocked someone as progressive as you would say that. Since when are discussions a win? I know you would not say a "discussion" about climate change is a win so why that?

But yes if we get a momentous deal out of these discussions THEN I would say it is a win. For now its just "progress".

I wonder what else is left for him to do foreign policy wise. This really is HUGE. If I were him I would have made a prime time address on this.
