It is time to blow the whole system up. No pay to play. Start building futsal courts in every hood in every major city in this country. We need to focus on the youth if we can't qualify for the world cup we need to let all the old guys go. I don't care if we get beat every game for 2 years let the youth play together and learn. Hopefully by the next world cup cycle we'll be well established with young talent.

Sadly, that's the unfortunate truth. Until the sport changes from being a suburb sport, it will always stay in this status. It also hurts that corporations in America can't inundate us with their shytty commercials every couple of minutes in this sport like they can with other sports in America so you won't get them to sponser shyt (though I could be wrong here).

I was one of them for a while. I thought it was all flopping and crying until I got some Nigerian roommates in college. All they showed back then on TV was Italy and Brazil doing dive bullshyt. My roommates put me onto Jay Jay Okocha and I was in it.
