If he stays he's going to Matt Barkley himself. Better leave when you've got a first round grade cause he ain't shyt. The QB prospects are also weak as shyt so he's got less competition.

exactly

waiting for the "he showed moxy, he was getting hit all game but kept standing in the pocket slinging it, scouts i talked to were very impressed"

long term that would probably be better for his life than getting drafted and flaming out the league

He ain't ready, but scouts/GM's ready to take him next April. Time for him to bounce
Which is better, short money or long money? If you're not ready, you're not ready. Draft position nowadays means very little outside of getting more money upfront in the beginning. It's better to wait until you're ready and hope that a stable team picks you and gives you the opportunity to grow into the player you can be. Too many organizations looking for that Qb Savior when they rarely occur. Hopefully Darnold can forgo the temptation to leave and come.back and hone his skills.

There is nothing he can’t work on in the league, if he stays he’s going to fukk around and kill any traction he made with the scouts, he needs to go now, the money is neither long or short, it’s all in the scenario of how much the league thinks you have potential, Matt Barkley was all world his junior year, then had that shytty senior season now he’s holding clipboards, wether you are first or forth rd if you are going to be on the bench might as well get paid first round money

I get what ur saying. But it all depends on what he values. If he cares about being the best Qb he can be, then you stay and try to continue to develop. If he wants to get paid, take the money and run!

He's not Barkley though, he's clearly better and barring injury will remain a first round talent next year.

If I was him I'd either stay in school or declare for the draft...but make it clear I wouldn't interview with or play for the Browns.

yea, its like he gets exposed every other game. hes really not that good.

better cash in now. besides, if the draft was today; he'd likely go to the giants, where he wont have to play right away. perfect situation for him.
