USC to retain Clay Helton as permanent HC

I don't know bout this. I feel like they should at least take a few more weeks to search see whos out there and who might be interested. Ain't like Helton was going anywhere. But then again they've had months to turnover a few stones and see what's out there.

Event though they could have gotten a bigger name maybe they think Clay is the answer. Either that or the assistants they reached out too weren't taking their calls. Which I find hard to believe cause this is USC. And whatever luster they have lost can be fixed with the right coach. We will see if Helton is that guy.
