There's a plethora of reasons why he didn't do a newer song because again, its 15 minutes. "Good, Good" features 21 Savage and Summer Walker and probably didn't want to perform the song without them.

You said it yourself, he had 15 minutes so it would only make sense to do it without them. So why would he choose not to sing it & miss out on boosting his streaming numbers for it because they weren't there to do their verses? Especially since he did snippets of everything else except for Yeah.

Dr. Dre headlined a Superbowl and performed nothing from Compton. Most of the songs from Chronic 2001. Kendrick was on the same show and performed a song from GKMC. Mary was on the same show with them and had a new album coming. She didn't do a new song either. The year Beyonce headlined, she had a new music out, but didn't debut a new song either.

I'm sure all Taylor Swift fans that tuned in or were in attendance knew what Usher was doing at 7:00 in his drop top, let alone knew of or wanted to hear the other slow jamz he did that came out when their parents were teenagers. Face it, Good Good just wasn't good enough, let along his other more recent singles. Usher had the the world watching & had a chance to gain millions of new fans but had nothing recent to pull out of his back pocket to win them over. You shouldn't have even brought that song into the conversation.
